Omar Shamma

Omar Shamma is located in Dubai and leads our executive search activities across the Middle East and Asia regions. An astute business leader with extensive international management and leadership experience, Omar has held senior management roles in several leading multinationals in the chemicals and construction products industries. Prior to joining Borderless, Omar founded a successful advisory practice, serving major organizations in the Middle East and China, in strategic planning, marketing and leadership. Omar is an active speaker and facilitator delivering various programmes on strategic management and leadership to audiences around the globe. Omar was born and raised in the UK, and holds a degree in chemistry and a postgraduate diploma in strategic marketing. He speaks fluent English and Arabic, and has lived and worked in Europe, the US, China and the Middle East. Omar’s background provides a solid understanding of the impact of culture on business achievement, which is fundamental for successful executive search in the context of the multicultural business environment of the Middle East and Asia.
